PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher that reliably takes over information on operation progress states such as total operating hours and the number of operating times when a memory is to be replaced for component replacement due to a failure, and prevents a user from rewriting the total operating hours or the number of operating times by mistake.SOLUTION: The dishwasher includes: an operation section 6 where instructions to the dishwasher are input; a control section 21 for performing operation control of the dishwasher based on the control information input at the operation section 6, which is to be covered with a cover 25; and a display section 7 for displaying the operation condition of the dishwasher. The control section 21 has: a memory 22 capable of storing information about the operation progress status, and also reading and writing information; and a memory control section 23 configured to be operated to display the information written in the memory 22 on the display section 7, and also become operable with the cover 25 being removed.
