Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery and a battery pack which make it easy to control thermal fusion for a seal portion, allow the seal portion to be thermally fused with excellent adhesive strength and sealability, and make it possible to suppress the occurrence of short-cut between a metal layer and a lead conductor when thermally fusing the seal portion.SOLUTION: In a positive electrode lead and a negative electrode lead of the battery, a sealant is disposed in a portion of the both sides of the positive electrode lead and a portion of the both sides of the negative electrode lead to improve a property of adhesion to a laminate film. The sealant has thermally fusible resin and fine resin fibers.
