LINEAR ILLUMINATING LAMP WHICH HAS LIGHT SOURCES ON BOTH ENDS OF LIGHT GUIDE BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear illumination lamp having light sources on both ends of a light guide body which can be used for a glow discharge type fluorescent lamp of current general use.SOLUTION: Mounting chips 2 of LEDs provided on both ends of a light guide body 1 is connected to a low voltage output terminal 5A of a power source board 5 through a conductive pattern 3A of a chip substrate 3 with a heat sink 4; commercial alternate current input terminals 5B are commonly connected in a pair of two to conductive pins 7 provided in projection parallel on each of two end caps 6; on the other hand, both end part circumferential surfaces of the pillar-shaped light guide body 1 and circumferential edges of the power source board 4 are pinched respectively by projected piece grooves 9 of insulation tube 8 which are cut into two in an axial direction and each of the insulation tubes 8 are adhesion-fixed; and each of the above members are concealed and fixed by the adhesive agent insulation tube 8 and, further, the end caps 6 are fitted respectively to the outside opening parts of each of the insulation tubes 8.
