Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission end module or a reception end module through the use of transmission technology concerning a totally reflected signal in an optical waveguide structure with a simpler semiconductor manufacturing process.SOLUTION: A signal transmission module has an optical waveguide structure for application of converting and transmitting an electrical signal or an optical signal, and comprises a semiconductor substrate, a first film layer, an electrical signal transmission device, an optical/electrical signal conversion device, a second film layer, and an optical waveguide structure. In the signal transmission module, the optical/electrical signal conversion device converts an electrical signal or an optical signal into a corresponding optical signal or a corresponding electrical signal. A position of a reflector of the optical waveguide structure corresponds to that of the optical/electrical signal conversion device. Also, the corresponding optical signal passes through the first film layer, the semiconductor substrate, and the second film layer, and enters the optical waveguide structure, and is transmitted therethrough, or the optical signal is transmitted in a reverse direction, received by the optical/electrical signal conversion device, and converted into a corresponding electrical signal.
