WATT-HOUR METER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow powering and interruption for each load of a user.SOLUTION: A watt-hour meter comprises: system side terminals which are connected to a power distribution system and receive electric power supplied from the power distribution system; first load-side terminals which are connected with a first load for which interruption of power supply is acceptable, and supply the electric power received from the power distribution system to the first load; second load-side terminals which are connected with a second load for which interruption of power supply is not acceptable, and supply the electric power received from the power distribution system to the second load; a measuring electronic circuit which measures the amount of electric power used by the first and the second loads; an interruption signal receiving unit which receives an interruption signal indicating that the loads should be cut off via a communication line; and a circuit breaker which interrupts the power supply to the first load-side terminals when the interruption signal receiving unit receives the interruption signal.
