Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and improved secondary battery, in which, when a plain part of an electrode assembly and a collector plate are welded, efficiency and reliability are improved, and the presence or absence of welding can be confirmed easily.SOLUTION: The secondary battery includes: a housing; an electrode assembly that has a first electrode provided with a coating part coated with a first active material and a plain part having no first active material, a second electrode and a separator formed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and is housed in the housing; and a collector plate including a first collector plate and a second collector plate where the plain parts are engaged together between the housing and the electrode assembly.
