Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint, capable of reliably preventing a pullout of a pipe, and also capable of achieving miniaturization.SOLUTION: A circumferential groove 11b for mounting a retaining ring, which has a slope 11c sloped forward on the down grade in the inserting direction of a pipe P, in the position where the outer circumferential surface of an inserting cylinder 11 faces the inner circumferential surface of a fastening ring 3. The substantially C-shaped retaining ring 5a having protrusions 52 in the circumferential surface is mounted in the groove 11b.
