COIL SKID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil skid that does not scratch a metal plate when the coil skid for placing and storing a coil of a wound metal plate such as a steel sheet manufactured by cold rolling in an iron mill or the like is placed and stored inside a warehouse, in the open air or the like, and furthermore has flame retardancy even when the coil skid is encountered fire in a warehouse or fire at an iron mill.SOLUTION: A coil skid CS1 has a groove-like body 2 having a substantially V-shaped cross section and formed at the center of the top face thereof. The groove-like body 2 comprises inclined planes 1a, 1b facing each other. The coil skid CS1 is made of a rubber composition, and the rubber composition contains 1-60 pts.wt. halogen-based flame retardant and 10-80 pts.wt. organic short fibers, to 100 pts.wt. rubber. Alternatively, the rubber composition contains 1-60 pts.wt. halogen-based flame retardant, 1-30 pts.wt. antimony-based flame retardant, and 10-80 pts.wt. organic short fibers, based on 100 pts.wt. rubber.
