SUSPENDING IMPLEMENT AND METHOD OF LIFTING AND CONVEYING SUSPENDING CARGO USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspending implement which can easily hold a suspending cargo in a required posture like a substantially horizontal posture without the need for proficiency when the suspending cargo is lifted by a lifting apparatus such as a crane or a winch, and a method of lifting and conveying the suspending cargo using the same.SOLUTION: The suspending implement includes a suspending implement body hanging the suspending cargo, a wire having a front end engageable with one end area of the suspending cargo, and a winch which is used to pay out and wind up the wire and includes a ratchet mechanism inhibiting the paying-out operation of the wire upon winding up. The method of conveyance of the suspending cargo using the suspending implement includes the step of hanging the suspending cargo on the suspending implement body and engaging the wire paid out from the winch with the end area of the suspending cargo, the step of winding up the wire while inhibiting paying out of the wire by the ratchet mechanism, and the step of holding the suspending cargo in the required posture like the substantially horizontal posture. It is preferable that the winch is operable by transmitting an external force from a remote position.
