BROADCAST RECEIVER AND BROADCAST RECEPTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver and a broadcast reception method so as to facilitate receiving restricted individual information even a viewer failed to receive the information with renewed effective period within the old effective period.SOLUTION: A broadcast receiver comprises: viewer information storage means; generation means; and airing means. The viewer information storage means stores viewer information of the viewers who made a viewing contract. The generation means generates the individual information with regard to restricted reception of contents including a first period indicating the effective period of the individual information and a second period set independently from the first period based on the viewer information for each viewer who made a viewing contract. The airing means inserts the generated individual information in a broadcasting signal to be aired.
