COMPONENT MOUNTING DEVICE AND MAINTENANCE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting device that maintains mounting accuracy at a constant level even if temperature changes.SOLUTION: A component mounting device comprises: a head 101 which holds a component 300 and mounts it on a substrate 200; a beam 103 which guides the head 101 so that it can reciprocate in the X-axis direction; first guide means 131 which is attached to one end of the beam 103, guides the beam 103 so as to reciprocate in the Y-axis direction, and controls movements of the beam 103 in the X-axis and Y-axis directions; second guide means which is attached to the other end of the beam 103, guides the beam 103 so as to reciprocate in the Y-axis direction, permits a displacement of the other end of the beam 103 in the X-axis direction, and controls movement of the beam 103 in the Z-axis direction; and a direct-acting motor 140 which drives the beam 103 so as to reciprocate in the Y-axis direction.
