Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication module that has a simple structure and yet allows a laser beam to be shaded when an external line connector is removed therefrom without being limited in incorporation.SOLUTION: A ferrule physically contacting with an external line connector is internally mounted via a sleeve 43 in the optical communication module 57. The ferrule is constituted by a first divided ferrule 45 physically contacting with the external line connector, and a second divided ferrule 47 which is formed as a separated piece from the first divided ferrule 45 and brought into contact with the axis aligned therewith. Further, the first divided ferrule 45 and the sleeve 43 for holding the ferrule 45 are arranged to be movable in conjunction with insertion or withdrawal of the external line connector. With this comprisal, a clearance 55 is generated between the first divided ferrule 45 and the second divided ferrule 47 when the external line connector is inserted or withdrawn, and thereby a shaded state is provided. |
