EXPANSION GATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion gate that can prevent a guide rail from becoming a passing obstruction when a person, a bicycle, a wheelchair user, etc. passes in and out by opening the expansion gate.SOLUTION: An expandable master door 2 and an expandable slave door 3 are provided respectively at a pair of suspension root parts 4, 5 opposed to each other with an opening therebetween; the opening between the both suspension root parts 4, 5 is configured to be opened in a double-opening style by contracting the master door 2 and the slave door 3 toward the respective suspension root parts 4, 5 sides in opposite directions with each other. Wheels 22 are provided at a bottom of the master door 2 so that the master door is opened/closed by contracting/expanding it while guiding the wheels 22 on a guide rail 23 laid on the ground. On the other hand, the slave door 3 is opened/closed by contracting/expanding it without laying a guide rail at a lower position of the slave door.
