PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator that makes it attainable to suppress user's rushing action into an elevator car to a high degree.SOLUTION: The elevator 10 includes a light source device 20 which outputs door-closing alarm display 21 to an opened doorway 13 when an elevator door 14 is closed. The light source device 20 is arranged to output the line-shaped door-closing alarm display 21 comprising a plurality of laser beams advancing right and left on the doorway 13. By the elevator 10, it is attainable to make a user recognize that the elevator door 14 is closed by appealing to user's visual sense, and to suppress the user's rushing action into the elevator car 11 to a high degree.
