Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide anonymized energy consumption information required to control a smart grid.SOLUTION: In a grid including a smart meter having two IDs, one of the IDs is used by the smart meter to transmit consumption data to be associated with an owner or user of the smart meter, for example, for billing purposes. A second ID is anonymous, and a utility provider cannot associate the consumption data by a message transmitted by the smart meter along with the second ID with a specified smart meter or household. By using the second ID by the smart meter to frequently transmit information requested by a grid operator for controlling the grid, a privacy problem of such data transmission can be relieved.
