PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make color shading inconspicuous between a part where bands are printed overlapping each other, and a part where the bands are printed without overlapping each other.SOLUTION: This printing device is configured to print a first band in a first pass and to print a second band in a second pass so that the second band partially overlaps the first band. In the printing device, the overlap printed area where the first and second bands are printed by overlapping each other is divided by a single continuous boundary line into a first area that is printed during the first pass and a second area that is printed during the second pass; and, when the overlap printed area is cut by a line parallel to a sub-scanning direction, the boundary line includes a first boundary line portion where the parallel line crosses the boundary line from the first area toward the second area, and a second boundary line portion where the parallel line crosses the boundary line from the second area toward the first area.
