Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver and such capable of switching operation modes automatically according to a viewer's age and providing an optimum operation environment and such.SOLUTION: A control part 100 of the television receiver comprises: a judgement part 110 to judge a viewer's age from a viewer's face image taken by an imaging device 52; an operation mode switching part 111 to switch the television receiver's operation mode according to the age judged by the judgement part 110; and an image display control part 112 to display an image on a liquid crystal display according to the operation mode. The television receiver's operation mode is automatically switched according to the age judged from the judgement part 110.
