Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector engaging mechanism capable of simply coupling or decoupling a connector connecting substrates of a blade server and the like.SOLUTION: Each substrate has a connector for connecting to other substrates, and guide panels 10 formed above and under the connector. Apertures are provided on the guide panels. In a connector module, a connecting substrate 2, in which a plurality of connectors to be paired with the connector of the substrates connected with each other are mounted, and an auxiliary metal fitting 3 are integrally formed, an insertion-extraction tool 4 for engaging the connector of the substrates connected with each other with the connectors of the connector module is prepared. The insertion-extraction tool has a handle for pressing a projection for fixing the insertion-extraction tool to the substrates connected with each other and the connector module under a lever principle. The projection of the insertion-extraction tool is inserted in the aperture of the guide panel of the substrate, and the connectors of the connector module are engaged with the connectors of the substrates connected with each other by pressing the handle.
