PERSONALIZATION FOR SEQUENCING OF BRACED CONTENT WITHIN SEARCH RESULT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To re-sequence search results in order to emphasize a Web page in which a person who issues a search query is highly likely to get interested, and to operate without any explicit input from the user relating to a taste and interest of the user.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a system and method for sequencing braced content within a search result to be returned by a search engine by using a user profile. A user profile is based on the specific interaction of the user with a search query issued by the user and a document identified by a search engine and personal information provided by the user. The braced content is ranked by scores at least partially based on the similarity of the specific braced content with the user profile. The user profile may be created and/or stored at the client side or server side of a client/server network environment.
