Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake air control apparatus for properly controlling the amount of intake air and controlling an air-fuel ratio with high accuracy while preventing a reduction in output of an internal combustion engine, so as to prevent a fuel injection amount from exceeding the maximum fuel supply amount of a fuel injection valve when the engine is in a high rotation speed and high load operation mode in which cooling is required by increasing the amount of the fuel.SOLUTION: The intake air control apparatus 1 for the internal-combustion engine 3 is configured to, if it is determines that the internal-combustion engine 3 is in the predetermined high rotation speed and high load operation mode, reduce an intake air amount GAIR in accordance with a rotation speed NE of the internal-combustion engine and an ignition timing TIG in order to prevent a fuel injection quantity QINJ to be injected from a fuel injection valve 6 from exceeding a maximum fueling rate QMAX of the fuel injection valve 6 (steps 36 to 41 in Fig.12).
