Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air quantity control apparatus for an internal combustion engine, to properly control an intake air quantity and accurately controlling an air-fuel ratio so that a fuel injection amount is not less than the minimum fuel supply amount of a fuel injection valve when the internal combustion engine is in a deceleration operation state while receiving fuel.SOLUTION: The intake air quantity control apparatus 1 for the internal combustion engine 3 controls, when it is determined that the internal combustion engine 3 is in a predetermined deceleration operation state while receiving fuel from a fuel injection valve 6, an intake air quantity GAIR is controlled to be increased in accordance with the atmospheric pressure PA and an engine rotation speed NE so as to prevent a fuel injection amount QINJ which is to be injected from the fuel injection valve 6 from decreasing below the minimum fuel supply amount QMIN of the fuel injection valve 6 (steps 23 to 26 in Fig.9). |
