Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an isocyanurate compound which is useful as a curing agent and a curing accelerator of an epoxy resin, and moreover as a modifier of a silicone resin or a coupling agent of an inorganic filler and a resin.SOLUTION: There is provided 1-(3-trialkylsilylpropyl)-3,5-bis(carboxymethyl)isocyanurate or 1-(3-trialkylsilylpropyl)-3,5-bis(2-carboxyethyl)isocyanurate represented by an isocyanurate compound shown by the formula which can be synthesized by reacting 1-allyl-3,5-bis(carboxymethyl)isocyanurate or 1-allyl-3,5-bis(2-carboxyethyl)isocyanurate with a silane compound having an SiH group and a hydrosilylating catalyst.
