Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a film of high thickness accuracy even when using a thermoplastic resin such as polyvinyl chloride or polyolefin, particularly a resin of high melt viscosity and low melt elongation, as a material for film production.SOLUTION: The method for producing a film containing a thermoplastic resin includes the step of supplying a material 1 containing a thermoplastic resin which has a pair of opposing flat portions between a pair of rollers 2 under the condition that the thermoplastic resin is melted, and the step of rolling the pair of flat portions together through the pair of rollers 2 to fuse the flat portions together into a single integral film, wherein the material 1 supplied to the rollers 2 are two separate films having flat portions or one flat tubular film having a pair of opposing flat portions which have end portions connected by connecting portions.
