Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation control system for a fan motor in a dust collector by which power waste is eliminated by rotating the fan motor in such a manner that a required air flow conforming to the opening number of dampers may be obtained.SOLUTION: The operation control system for the fan motor in the dust collector includes the dust collector 11, a main duct 14 which is pulled out from the dust collector side, and a branching duct 23 having the damper 25 which is connected with the main duct 14 and the dust collecting port 22 of a processing machine 21. The dust collector 11 includes an inverter 15, and an output control means 16 which transmits a required output signal to the inverter 15. The output control means 16 which is connected with the process control means 25 being provided in the processing machine 21 through a network 32 can control the rotation number of the fan motor 12 by calculating the required air flow and the rotation number of the fan motor 12 in order to obtain the required air flow conforming to the opening number of the dampers 25 which is transmitted from the process control means 25, and by outputting them in the form of signals to the inverter 15 as a command frequency.
