When the accumulated error is larger than a minimum conveyance amount specified based on the resolution of the encoder 39, the accumulated error is corrected by the control conveyance amount of one or a plurality of passes in each minimum conveyance amount, to convey the Y bar 34 in the sub-scanning direction F.
