Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately polish a surface of a utility pole while keeping the number of components of a utility pole polishing device small and keeping the cost thereof low.SOLUTION: The utility pole polishing device includes: a first frame for placing a first end on the longitudinal small-diameter side of the concrete utility pole presenting a tapered shape; a second frame for placing a second end on the longitudinal large-diameter side of the utility pole; a rail which is disposed between the first and second frames, along the longitudinal direction of the utility pole placed on the first and second frames; and a polishing mechanism which is constituted to move on the rail so as to polish an outer peripheral surface of the utility pole facing the rail. The first or second frame is provided with an adjusting mechanism for adjusting the height of the utility pole so that the outer peripheral surface of the utility pole facing the rail can be almost parallel to the rail.
