Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electrical machine which is capable of higher speed rotation or higher output with a simpler configuration.SOLUTION: A rotating electrical machine includes a stator having a plurality of armature windings 20a to 20f arranged therein, a substantially cylindrical rotor, and field windings CK1 and CK2 provided in the rotor. An outer peripheral surface of the rotor is separated into an even number of rotor magnetic poles 10a to 10d by a plurality of cutout grooves. With respect to each of the rotor magnetic poles, a permanent magnet M is embedded in the vicinity of the outer peripheral surface so that the directions of magnetic fields of adjacent rotor magnetic poles are opposed to each other. Each of the field windings is wound around each of the rotor magnetic poles or every other rotor magnetic pole. A rotation direction of the rotor is set to only one direction or in such a manner that the use frequency of one direction is higher than that of the other. Each of the permanent magnets is not embedded in the central section of each of the rotor magnetic poles in a circumferential direction but is embedded in a position (distance DF>distance DB) closer to the side in a reverse direction. |
