CONTENT TRANSFER SYSTEM, AND METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain contents on digital media (DM) server located in a home network from the outside.SOLUTION: A DM server 50 is connected subordinately to a home gateway (HGW) 40, and a content display control section 20 is placed subordinately to an external server 30 connected with the HGW 40 via the Internet 10. The external server 30 connected with the HGW 40 through a CWMP session adds a new parameter to the CWMP parameters predetermined for the HGW 40 by a remote program call (RPC method), and then adds a content list to the added parameter. The external server 30 obtains the CWMP parameters containing the content list from the HGW 40 by the RPC method, accepts a display instruction which is input by a user based on the content list, and instructs the content display control section 20 to obtain a content to be displayed from the DM server 50 and to display the content.
