Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave heating device which can heat a material to be treated uniformly by microwaves while reducing the size and cost, and to provide a microwave heating method.SOLUTION: In a microwave heating device comprising a heating chamber 11 in which a material to be treated 22 is heated, a magnetron 15 which generates microwaves 18, and a voltage application means 16 for applying a voltage to the magnetron 15 in order to generate microwaves 18, the heating chamber 11 is formed as a box surrounded by six outer walls 19a to 19f. Each inner surface 119, 119... facing the indoor side of the six outer walls 19a to 19f is provided so that the inner surfaces 119, 119... are non-parallel to each other, and the incidence angle and the reflection angle of the microwaves 18 reflecting on each inner surface 119, 119... are unconjugated.
