IMAGE-FORMING APPARATUS AND DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM EQUIPPED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve management and security relating to storing and/or printing of document data by combining authentication with the use of biological information and authentication with no use of biological information.SOLUTION: An image-forming apparatus comprises: a code authentication part for authenticating a user using code information; a biological authentication part for further authenticating the user using biological information on user's physical characteristics; an operation display part for accepting instructions from the user, and executes display relating to document data to be classified in accordance with the instructions; an image processing part for processing an image to display or print contents of the document data, or transmit them to an external device; and a control part for controlling the code authentication part, the biological authentication part, the image processing part and the operation display part. The control part executes control in order to display an attribute relating to the document data rather than the contents when the code authentication part finishes the authentication, and to accept instructions to display or print the contents, or to transmit them to the external device when the biological authentication part finishes the authentication.
