ELECTRONIC PRICE DISPLAYING DEVICE WITH WAKE-UP FUNCTION, AUTOMATICALLY TURNING THE SAME ON IN RESPONSE TO LIGHT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic price displaying device with wake-up function, automatically turning itself on in response to light, allowing damages to the device caused due to friction to be avoided, difficulties regarding to the waterproofness of the device to be solved, and the wake-up function to be attached at low cost.SOLUTION: An electronic price displaying device with wake-up function, automatically turning itself on in response to light includes: a transmitting unit 210 to transmit information on a product to an administrative server; a receiving unit 214 to receive information on the product's price from the administrative sever; a displaying unit 220 to display the information on the product's price on a segment LCD; a controlling unit 218 to provide the information on the product to the transmitting unit 210 to transmit the information to the administrative server, and receive the information on the product's price from the administrative server via the receiving unit 214 to provide the information on the product's price to the displaying unit 220; a power supplying unit 222 to supply power to the controlling unit 218 and the displaying unit 220 when wake-up voltage, for turning the electronic price displaying device on, is provided; and a wake-up unit 224 to generate wake-up voltage and provide it to the power supplying unit 222 in response to light provided by a scanner light source. The electronic price displaying device with wake-up function easily turns itself on using light provided by a scanner light source.
