DISPLAY DEVICE AND DRIVING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and a driving method therefor, which can accurately measure variations in characteristics of driving transistors of a pixel circuit and compensate for these variations more precisely.SOLUTION: The display device includes a display part including a plurality of pixels, a compensator which receives a pixel current generated by the plurality of pixels according to a data voltage and calculates an image data compensation amount to compensate for variations in characteristics of driving transistors of respective pixels, and a data selector which transmits the data voltage to the plurality of pixels or transmits the pixel current to the compensator. The compensator measures first and second pixel currents generated by first and second data voltages corresponding to mutually different gray scale levels and calculates an actual threshold voltage and mobility of measurement pixels and controls a resistance value of a measurement resistor which converts the first pixel current corresponding to the first data voltage into a first measured voltage and converts the second pixel current corresponding to the second data voltage into a second measured voltage.
