Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the enlargement of a constitution as a whole, and to enhance design flexibility, while not impairing the cooling of an engine, improving the efficiency of using the engine, and eliminating the need for changing the structure of a fan case depending on the engine.SOLUTION: In this back pack air blower which carries, on its back, the fan case 1 with a built-in fan 3, and the engine 2 for rotating the fan 3, the fan case 1 has an air suction port 123 located in a position surrounding the rotating center of the fan 3 and an air discharging port which are opened at its back face side and in the line connecting direction of its circumferential face, respectively, and the engine 2 is supported while leaving a clearance between the air suction port 123 and the fan case.
