SAMPLING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a sampling port to be opened and closed even when the sample to be sampled is soft, to make sampling from a sampling port smooth irrespective of the hardness of the hole bottom of a drilling hole or the circumference ground, and to allow reliable sampling from any depth without using a large scale and expensive equipment.SOLUTION: In a drilling device, a hollow pipe 7 is coupled to the drilling rod end thereof; a top lid 1 having a plurality of sample intake port 8 is attached to the lower end of the hollow pipe 7; a guide pipe 11 is continuously provided on the lower end of the hollow pipe 7 in such a manner that the guide pipe faces the lower section of the top lid 1; and a bottomed cylinder 3 provided with a flange part 3b that opens and closes a sample intake port 8 circumferentially around the opening of the a upper end, is attached axially and slidably at the outer peripheral of the guide pipe 11. Under at least the atmospheric pressure situation within the hollow pipe 7, the repulsion force of a spring 2 causes a flange part 6 to block the sample intake port 8, and a upper lid 5 is placed at the opening of the upper end onto the sampling container.
