Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cogging thrust of a linear motor while improving a thrust.SOLUTION: The linear motor includes a mover and a stator. Relating to the mover, at least three permanent magnets face the stator while being aligned in the array direction of a plurality of armatures. Adjoining two permanent magnets, among those permanent magnets, are held by a back yoke so that the same poles have a predetermined magnetic force repulsion interval for facing each other. A permanent magnet positioned at the center among the permanent magnets is equally divided along the array direction to provide two split magnets. A predetermined magnetic force interval is provided between the two split magnets.
