Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve storage efficiency in an encapsulating case, to downsize an electrolytic capacitor, and to increase an electrostatic capacity, in the electrolytic capacitor having a small diameter and a long height dimension, e.g., an outer diameter of 10.5 mm or less and a height dimension of 30 mm or more.SOLUTION: In the electrolytic capacitor formed so that a capacitor element formed by arranging a separator between an anode foil and a cathode foil, winding both the foils so that the cathode foil forms the outermost periphery, and fixing the winding end of the cathode foil by a winding stop tape, is stored in a bottomed encapsulating case made of aluminum, and an opening end part of the encapsulating case is sealed by a sealing body. The ratio of the outer diameter of the electrolytic capacitor to the height dimensional is 1:3-10 and a winding end of the cathode foil of the capacitor element and a winding end of the winding stop tape are arranged so as to be shifted from each other in the winding direction of the capacitor element.
