Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain large electric current by shortening a length of a lead plate connecting between an electrode assembly member and a lid body.SOLUTION: In a state arranged on an opposite side from an end part 41b to a center surface, the other end part 41c of a lead plate 41 is put under ultrasonic welding to a cathode collector member 25. Next, the end part 41b of the lead plate 41 is rotated with a root of the other end part 41c as an axis to pull out to a position higher than an upper end part of a battery vessel 2 and further outside than a side surface of the battery vessel 2 on the same side to the center surface. The end part 41b of the lead plate 41 is jointed to a lid unit 30 by laser welding for irradiating laser from an arrow direction shown by a solid line. Then, as shown in Fig.7, the lid unit 30 as well as the end part 41b of the lead plate 41 is rotated up to a position of an opposite side from the end part side, and then, the lid unit 30 is mounted on a gasket 43.
