METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR DISPLAYING CURSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display method of a cursor for displaying a cursor which can know and instruct a position in a depth direction of a two-dimensional image, and a display program of the cursor.SOLUTION: In the method for cursor display, a cursor 2 which indicates a target point to be freely moved and operated is displayed within a two-dimensional image, wherein laser point group data 1 distributed upon three-dimensional coordinates are represented according to a predetermined viewpoint position. The method for cursor display is constituted to: compute a corresponding position upon the three-dimensional coordinates, of the target point within the two-dimensional image; define a predetermined planar diagram area 3 including the corresponding position and being perpendicular to a viewpoint position direction, upon the three-dimensional coordinates on the basis of the corresponding position; divide a visual field area passing the inside of the planar diagram area 3 from the viewpoint position, with the planar diagram area 3 as a reference; and perform non-display processing on the laser point group data 1 disposed within any of the divided areas.
