CONGESTION LEVEL DISPLAY APPARATUS, CONGESTION LEVEL DISPLAY METHOD, AND CONGESTION LEVEL DISPLAY SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a congestion level display apparatus, a congestion level display method, and a congestion level display system capable of reducing the sense of discomfort which is recognized by a driver, regarding a displayed congestion level.SOLUTION: A navigation device 10 includes a VICS-receiving unit 21 for receiving traffic information VC transmitted from a server and a GPS receiving unit 22 receiving position information L of a vehicle. The navigation device 10 learns a home area which the vehicle travels more frequently than other traveling areas, learns a travel speed calculated on the basis of a travel time included in the traffic information VC, in association with a congestion level transmitted from the server when the current position is included in the home area, and displays the congestion level transmitted from the server on a display 31. When the current position is not included in the home area, the learned congestion level corresponding to the travel speed of the vehicle is displayed on the display 31.
