PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, a method and a system of obtaining parking-lot information with which information regarding the congestion state of a parking lot is obtained, without entering the parking lot.SOLUTION: A parking-lot information display device embodied as a navigation device 10 calculates the current position of a vehicle, on the basis of information input from a GPS-receiving unit 21, a gyro sensor 22, and a vehicle speed sensor 23. When the current position of the vehicle reaches the periphery of a destination set in advance, it starts collection of travel information of the vehicle and storage of the passage of a parking lot, and terminates the collection of the travel information and the storage of the passage of the parking lot, when the vehicle is stored inside a parking lot. On the basis of the travel information and the parking lots stored, the parking lot which is provided on a road where the vehicle travels in the vertical directions and which is passed by the vehicle is determined as being full.
