PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric generation unit converting thermal energy to electric energy and recovering the energy by using a temperature difference between a heat source temperature within a process and an atmosphere temperature around the process when sensible heat and waste heat generated in a slug yard for slag-off of molten slug are recovered and including a thermoelectric generation module which is not easily deformed.SOLUTION: The thermoelectric generation unit is installed in a position in which pressing force with respect to the face of the thermoelectric generation module is 2 MPa or less.
