SANITARY WASHING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary washing device capable of obtaining washing water at a desired temperature immediately after the start of the passage of water even if a heater with relatively low thermal responsiveness is used for an instantaneous heating-type heat exchanger.SOLUTION: The sanitary washing device includes: the heat exchanger 440 which is provided with the heater 441 for instantaneously heating water; a water supply valve 431 which controls the supply of the water; a washing nozzle 471 which washes the private parts of the human body by emitting the jet of water from a spout; a water temperature detecting means 443 for detecting the temperature of the water heated by the heater 441; and a control section 405 which performs the private parts washing preparation operation of discharging the water in the heat exchanger 440 while making an electric current pass through the heater 441 before the start of the emission of the jet of water from the washing nozzle 471, and performs the abnormality response operation of stopping the passage of the electric current through the heater 441 when the temperature of the water temperature detected by the water temperature detecting means 443 becomes higher than a predetermined abnormal temperature. The control section 405 performs a forced heating mode of continuing the private parts washing preparation operation without performing the abnormality response operation during the performance of the private parts washing preparation operation.
