Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress influence of a bending load on a torque sensor in an electric power steering device.SOLUTION: The electric power steering device includes a steering shaft 22 for transmitting steering force of a steering handlebar 21 to a wheel, an upper bearing 24 provided in an upper portion of a vehicle body frame 2 to rotatably support an upper portion of the steering shaft 22, a lower bearing 25 provided in a lower portion of the vehicle body frame 2 to rotatably support a lower portion of the steering shaft 22, the torque sensor 26 for detecting torsional torque applied to the steering shaft 22 and an electric motor 27 for imparting steering force to the steering shaft 22 based on the torsional torque detected by the torque sensor 26. The electric motor 27 is provided in the steering shaft 22 between the upper bearing 24 and the lower bearing 25. The torque sensor 26 is provided in the steering shaft 22 on an upper side of the upper bearing 24.
