PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain more effective re-use of machining liquid while restraining deterioration of the machining liquid.SOLUTION: This wire saw includes a slurry circulation device 2 for circulating slurry between a slurry supply nozzle 18 and a circulation tank 20. The circulation device 2 includes: a first recovery box 24 and a first recovery pipe 28 for recovering the slurry at a lower position of a cutting region; second recovery boxes 26A, 26B and a second recovery pipe 29 for recovering the slurry at positions on both sides of the first recovery box 24; and a pump 21 and a supply pipe 22 for supplying the slurry in the tank 20 to the nozzle 18. The tank 20 includes a first storage section 40 connected with the first recovering pipe 28, a second storage section 42 connected with a second recovery pipe 29, and an agitator for stirring slurry. The first storage section 40 and the second storage section 42 communicate with each other at an internal bottom portion thereof, and an internal bottom surface 40a of the first storage section 40 is inclined. The supply pipe 22 supplies only the slurry in the second storage section 42 to the nozzle 18.
