STRUCTURE FOR MOUNTING ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a structure for mounting electronic equipment, capable of mounting new electronic equipment onto an existing mounting opening without deteriorating the beauty.SOLUTION: The structure for mounting the electronic equipment includes a box shaped chassis 3 in which a flange 5 is formed around the periphery edge, and screw insertion holes 7 are formed at four corners of the flange 5. The mounting structure is such that the electronic equipment is mounted by being buried into an opening 11 formed on a wall material 9. One side of the flange 5 is fixed on a wooden frame 13 by screwing wood screws 15 via screw insertion holes 7. Other side of the flange 5 is fixed by pinching the wall material 9 along with a flat mounting bracket 17 arranged at the back of the wall material 9. In the mounting bracket 17, screw holes 19 are formed at positions opposing to screw insertion holes 7 formed on the flange 5. The mounting bracket 17 and the other side of the flange 5 are tightened by fixing screws 21 screwed into screw holes 19 via screw insertion holes 7 to pinch the wall material 9.
