Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate astronomical observations of a user.SOLUTION: An information providing method includes the steps of: acquiring device position information calculated from the information on the position of an information providing device; acquiring orientation information calculated from the information on the orientation of the information providing device; acquiring attitude information calculated from the information on the attitude of the information providing device; reading astronomical information of a celestial body included in a field of view of a display part based on the device position information, the orientation information, the attitude information, internal parameters of the display part, and current time, from the astronomical information including the positional information for calculating the coordinates of the celestial body on the display part corresponding to the position of the celestial body position in a real space, and the attribute information on the attribute regarding the celestial body stored in a storage part; generating an image indicating the attribute regarding the celestial body based on the attribute information included in the astronomical information; calculating the display coordinates of the celestial body in the display part based on the position information, the device position information and the current time included in the astronomical information; and displaying the generated image based on the display coordinates. |
