Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable gas measuring device operable by a battery having an output voltage close to a rated voltage in a steady state of the device as much as possible.SOLUTION: The portable gas measuring device uses a sensor 1 for detecting gas by heating using Joule heat by power from the battery 3 and supplies power to a control means from the battery. In the portable gas measuring device, power is supplied to the control means 4 at a point of time when the sensor 1 reaches a prescribed temperature after turning on power.
