Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum briquette for steelmaking in which recycled aluminum is turned to practical use and by which the deoxidation of molten steel in a steelmaking furnace is smoothly performed and also the conveyance of the briquette to a hopper above the furnace in a steelmaking plant as well as cutout from the hopper can be smoothly performed.SOLUTION: The aluminum briquette is produced through the processes of: removing impurities by heat-treating the collected aluminum cans; smashing the cans to obtain granular aluminum; and compression-molding the granular aluminum into a briquette by a molding machine. The aluminum briquette is characterized in that it is molded into a thick oval shape.
