Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syngas production method that reduces the deposition of carbon on a catalyst without increasing the amount of the starting gas unnecessarily.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method for generating a syngas that comprises hydrogen and carbon monoxide by introducing a hydrocarbon gas, an oxygen gas and a carbon dioxide gas and inducing a combustion reaction and a reforming reaction by means of a catalytic reaction with a catalyst, and the method carries out a temperature-raising process of raising the temperature in the interior of a reformer to a prescribed startup initiation temperature; a carbon dioxide gas introduction initiation process of initiating the introduction of a carbon dioxide gas into the heated reformer, a hydrocarbon gas introduction process of introducing hydrocarbon gas into the reformer; and an oxygen gas introduction process of introducing oxygen gas into the reformer. In the carbon dioxide gas introduction initiation process, the introducing amount of carbon dioxide gas is increased to an amount exceeding the amount necessary for the prescribed reaction so as to reduce the deposition of carbon on the interior of the reformer, and after the temperature in the interior of the reformer has been raised to a prescribed startup completion temperature by the introduction of the starting gasses, and further, a carbon dioxide gas reduction process is carried out in order to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide gas to the amount that is necessary for the prescribed reaction. |
