Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously achieve improvement in handleability of damageable glass film and facilitation of cutting both ends of the glass film in a width direction.SOLUTION: The method for cutting a glass film includes: sticking a resin film 6 only to an effective part Ga being an across-the-width central portion except the ineffective parts Gb of both ends in the width direction in both surface and rear of the glass film G; and then cutting the ineffective parts Gb of the glass film G on which the resin film 6 is not stuck in such a state as to protect the effective part Ga of the glass film G with the resin film 6.
